The Founding Assembly of MIANU (IRASA) was held on September 25, 2018. in the Hotel “Srbija”, Belgrade.
The Founding Assembly of MIANU (IRASA) marked the following events:
- At the opening of the Founding Assembly of MIANU (IRASA), the President, prof. dr. Vladica Ristic, welcomed all present members of MIANU (IRASA);
- MIANU’s (IRASA’s) upcoming activities and promotion were addressed by the Vice President dr. Slobodanka Đolić, professor emeritus;
- MIANU (IRASA) Vice President, prof. dr Marija Maksin, spoke about the development and organization of MIANU (IRASA);
- The Academy was addressed by its honorary member, Mirza David, from Israel, and he spoke about the importance of linking science, education and protection against terrorism;
- On behalf of International University Travnik in Travnik, a collective member of the Academy, the Academy of MIANU (IRASA) was addressed by its regular member prof. dr Enes Huseinagić;
- Charters and membership cards were awarded to 70 individual and collective members of MIANU;
- The final word was given by the Secretary General, prof. dr. Aleksandar Žorić, and the Founding Assembly of MIANU (IRASA) was closed by the words of the President, prof. dr Vladica Ristic.
The Founding Assembly of MIANU was followed by the musical program with the following performers – opera singers:
- The regular member of MIANU (IRASA), tenor Araik Avanyan, opera champion in Monte Carlo, sang the following: romance Solmente per te (Bixio), aria Nesun Dorma (opera Turandot, Giacomo Puccini), romance La rondine al nido (Krechenzo) and Napolitana song O sole mio (Ernesto de Kurtis);
- The correspondent member of the MIANU (IRASA), soprano Dženana Huseinagić sang the theme of Parla piu piano (Nino Rota) from the movie The Godfather;
- The regular member of the MIANU tenor Araik Avanyan, sang in the duet with soprano Anastasia Holc the aria – the duet of Othelo and Desdemona from the opera Othelo (Guiseppe Verdi);
- Opera singers were accompanied by Maria Simić, a music associate.
